How to Manage or Cancel a Legacy Google Play Subscription
⚠️ Important: The Parrot AI Android App Is Currently Unavailable
The Parrot AI Android app is currently unavailable until further notice.
However, if you previously subscribed through Google Play, your legacy subscription may still be active and may continue renewing until it is canceled.
You do not need access to the Parrot AI Android app to manage or cancel the subscription.
Cancel Your Google Play Subscription
Legacy Google Play subscriptions must be managed through Google Play.
To cancel:
- Open Google Play using the Google account you originally used for your Parrot AI purchase.
- Go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select Parrot AI.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow Google's prompts to confirm the cancellation.
You can also manage your Google Play subscriptions through your Google account if you no longer have access to the Android device you originally used.
🌐 Google Play and Website Subscriptions Are Separate
A legacy subscription purchased through Google Play cannot be used on the Parrot AI website.
If you also have a subscription purchased directly from the Parrot AI website, that is a separate subscription and must be managed separately.
Canceling a Google Play subscription does not cancel a website subscription.
🗑️ Deleting Your Account?
Deleting your Parrot AI account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.
Cancel the subscription through Google Play separately before deleting your account if you want future renewals to stop.
💜 Can't Find the Subscription?
Make sure you're checking the Google account used for the original purchase.
If you still can't locate the subscription, contact our support team and include:
- Your User ID
- The email address or Google account used for the purchase
- Your receipt or proof of purchase
- A screenshot of what you're seeing
- Any error message, if applicable
